Andres Kragelund

As Opportunity Nation’s Partnerships & Development Associate, Andres Kragelund supports the development of strategic partnerships for the campaign by capturing and leveraging organizational data effectively and by advancing the dynamic relationships of Opportunity Nation’s diverse network.

Andres initially learned about Opportunity Nation as a corps member for City Year New Hampshire, where he helped to improve school attendance, student behavior and academic performance. Prior to coming to Opportunity Nation as a Fellow in late 2014, he developed grants and managed data for the Open Learning Exchange (OLE), a nonprofit organization that connects communities around the globe to valuable educational resources.

Andres attended the University of Florida where he earned a BS in Economics. In June 2015 he received an MS in Global Studies and International Affairs from Northeastern University, where he focused on the impact education can have on agency and global competitiveness.

Raised in Miami and of Argentine-Mexican heritage, Andres spends much of his free time unsuccessfully convincing those in the northeast that eighty-degree weather all year round is not as fun as it sounds. Unless it is February. Andres loves Miami in February.
