We woke up this morning overwhelmed by all the #OpportunityMoments that happened during the third National Opportunity Summit yesterday – thanks to all of you.
More than 1,000 cross-sector leaders from across the country joined us in Washington, D.C. to expand opportunity for our nation’s youth. We hope you left the event inspired, energized and mobilized to tackle youth unemployment in 2015.
It’s impossible to pick our faves, but here are a few unforgettable moments:
Youth Voice:
- Opportunity Leaders from around the country sharing their personal stories of tenacity and hope and their work to create pathways to the American Dream for other youth.
Cross Sector Collaboration:
- Genuine cross-sector, bipartisan collaboration demonstrated by public, private and nonprofit leaders joining together, forging relationships and focusing on common goals.
Social Media:
- The excitement generated by the Summit was tremendous. #OppSummit even trended nationally!
