IBM Preps Youth for Job Search

It is no secret that people in all walks of life are struggling today and that lucrative jobs are not broadly available. But here is something you may not know: While there are plenty of jobs available for those with technical skills, young people – the group assumed to be the most technically savvy – seem the least prepared. In fact, youth unemployment is at its highest point since World War II – north of 17 percent – double the overall unemployment rate.

This dismal statistic has a significant impact not only on the next generation, but also on society.
