Morning Education: The National Opportunity Summit

CONFERENCES COME TO TOWN: The Conservative Political Action Conference kicks off in D.C. today and there’s no shortage of education policy on the agenda. The conference features panel discussions titled, “Reclaiming the American Dream: Millennials Look Toward Their Future,” “Common Core: Rotten to the Core?” and “How Schools and Universities are Failing to Teach Kids.” Speakers include Annie Hsiao of the Charles Koch Institute, Cato Institute’s Neal McCluskey, American Principles Project’s Emmett McGroarty and more.
