Jennifer Jordan is Opportunity Nation’s Senior Writer and is responsible for articulating the campaign’s message to diverse audiences. She helps to develop communications strategy; analyzes data and research; and creates and edits original content, including in-depth publications related to the Opportunity Index.
Jennifer joined the campaign in 2013 after working as a reporter for various newspapers in New England, including a decade at The Providence (RI) Journal where she covered statewide education and economic development issues.
Jennifer is a cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has master’s degrees from San Francisco State University and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and she teaches narrative writing and beat reporting at Roger Williams University.
